Rescue & Intake
Rescue and intake is the first step in giving homeless, injured, or surrendered dogs a second chance. Our team responds to urgent situations, safely retrieves dogs from unsafe environments, and transports them to a licensed veterinarian for evaluation and treatment. Each dog then receives a full health and behavior assessment, vaccinations, microchipping, and an individualized care plan.
This process ensures every dog is safe, comfortable, and prepared for rehabilitation, foster care, or adoption. We prioritize humane handling, timely veterinary attention, and transparency throughout the intake process.

Rehabilitation and Care
Rehabilitation and care begin with patience, consistency, and compassion. Every dog comes to us with a unique history, so we create a tailored plan based on their medical needs, behavior, and emotional state. After a veterinary assessment, ongoing care focuses on proper nutrition, safe shelter, and overall comfort.
Behavioral rehabilitation uses positive reinforcement, gentle socialization, and predictable routines to rebuild trust and reduce fear. Enrichment—like exercise, toys, and basic training—supports mental wellbeing and helps dogs regain confidence.
Working closely with veterinarians, trainers, and foster caregivers, we monitor each dog’s progress and adjust their plan as needed. Our goal is to support both physical and emotional healing and prepare every dog for a stable, loving, and adoptable future.

Placement
Adopting a dog gives an animal in need a second chance and brings lasting companionship into your home. A successful adoption starts with understanding your lifestyle, home environment, and long‑term commitment. We evaluate each dog’s temperament, health, and behavior to match them with families whose activity level and experience fit their needs.
Every adoption includes essential veterinary care—spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping—and a clear adoption agreement. We also provide post‑adoption support, including training resources and follow‑up, to help ensure a smooth transition.
Adoption saves lives, reduces shelter overcrowding, and promotes responsible pet ownership in our community.
